Christmas, life, relocation North Carolina, sleep, work

Christmas!

Yes, I remember Thanksgiving is coming, and I’m ready – I LOVE Thanksgiving! But I just wanted to get my Christmas background done here before it’s almost Christmas and I have no time to do it!!!

We’re surviving okay – Chris is having a little trouble sleeping again which isn’t fun but it’s not as bad as it was. We have a problem with his ears being blocked up right now which we’re not sure how to deal with.

I’m trying to get Christmas shopping done early so I can just deal with all the school events, etc., in December! I already am starting Christmas card/newsletter prep. I hope to get them out by Dec 1!!!! We are overbooked with activities – here’s our schedule: (And remember our busy 2 3/4 year old is with -me ALL the time, doesn’t nap, and sleeps like 8-5 a.m. (I can’t go to bed at 8 because of other kids still being up until 10 or so).

Yawn.

Monday – speech therapy for Ryan, 10:30 a.m. Colleen swim class at 4.
Tuesday – skating at 5.
Wednesday – speech therapy for Ryan, 12:30 p.m., Colleen ADHD appointment at 4, Colleen Bible school 6:30 p.m.(but someone else takes her – nice!
Thursday – gym and swim for Ryan, 9 a.m., Colleen art class, 6:30 p.m.
Friday – speech therapy for Ryan, 9 a.m., chiropractor appointment 4:00 p.m., swimming, if I ever get there, for Chris, at 7.
Saturday – every other week Chris activity morning at MRDD center – drop him off and pick up, 8:30-1. 2:30 – Colleen volleyball.
Sunday – 10:45, church, if I ever get there!

Why doesn’t that look so bad but it makes me so tired? Geez…. I thought I could do this and go to college too…..Maybe when Ryan starts kindergarten!

Every week there’s usually some kind of doctor’s appointment, hearing checkup, EI specialist visit, a sick child, extra shopping for something (right now, obviously, Christmas) or a party to attend!

Life with 3 kids – love it, but how tiring!

Rog is working still at the traffic survey job. Very grateful, but I wish he could find something permanent with benefits. Still want to look at NC!
