I have had many songs that remind me of the love of my husband and me (1, 2, 3, awwwww 🙂 ). There was Time after Time by Cyndi Lauper, Hold me Now by the Thompson Twins, Panacea by Rush, there was a Led Zeppelin song (can’t remember the name now) – oh so many – I Want to Know what Love is by Foreigner, Just can’t fight this Feeling anymore by REO Speedwagon.
Many more I’m sure.
But I appreciate him so much (everyone mushy now?) and I heard this song (below is the video/audio and the lyrics) [the one from the other day that I posted that I found] and it just reminded me of him and all our time together in this world that can be rough, harsh, difficult, crabby, and also fun, full of laughter, love, happiness, and just being crazy all together as a family. It just has been a song that has brought it all together for me these past few days.
And now as he prepares for another work week, and I prepare for a week of typing, and child care, and getting kids off to school, and now dealing with the new problem of Chris staying up – THANKS ROG for being there for me – 23 years together as of this past March, and 20 years together coming up, the 20th wedding anniversary on June 20, 2007.
